New Executive Director
The United Way of Paducah-McCracken County recently announced that
Ashley Small will serve as the organization's new Executive
Director.
Ashley, a Paducah native, is currently the
Program Director of Caring for Kids, Inc., a non-profit in St.
Louis, dedicated to providing essential resources to meet the
needs of children in the Family Court system in the St. Louis
area. She previously served as Associate Executive Director and
Interim Executive Director for Merryman House Domestic Crisis
Center in Paducah.
In May, Ashley will be awarded a master's degree in social work
with a specialization in non-profit management from Washington
University in St. Louis. She earned her undergraduate degree in
2002 from Berea College.
Ashley fills a vacancy created in September when Executive
Director June Antony left after a successful career spanning
more than 20 years.
"As we move forward with the community impact initiatives and
further develop programs like 2-1-1 and Success by Six, we are
confident that Ms. Small has the skills to lead that charge and
look forward to introducing her to our supporters in the weeks
ahead," said Dr. Riley Love, Board President."
Ashley will begin her term as Executive Director on May 1.
