Areas Currently Served in Kentucky

Only 22 of 120 counties in Kentucky have access to information and referral call centers. Currently there are multiple locally-driven 2-1-1 initiatives in the planning stages or already operating.

Four Northern Kentucky counties – Boone, Campbell, Kenton and Grant - have fully operational 2-1-1 services through the efforts of United Way of Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky.

Jefferson, and 12 contiguous counties – Nelson, Trimble, Carroll, Henry, Bullitt, Oldham, Hardin, Shelby and Spencer Counties in Kentucky, and Clark, Floyd and Harrison Counties in Indiana – have established 2-1-1.

Residents in nine central Kentucky counties - Anderson, Bourbon, Clark, Fayette, Jessamine, Madison, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford have access to 2-1-1.

Representatives from all of these local initiatives are involved in the development of the statewide 2-1-1 plan.
