2-1-1 is an easy to remember three-digit dialing code assigned by the Federal Communications Commission that streamlines access to health and human services and volunteer opportunities.   The Kentucky Public Service Commission designated United Way of Kentucky to take the lead on the statewide implementation of 2-1-1.

United Way of Kentucky is working with a host of people and organizations, including local United Ways, established call centers, national, state and local leaders, telecommunications companies and many others to bring 2-1-1 to individuals in need all across Kentucky.
